MONOCHORD TABLE TRAINING CYCLE
THEORY AND PRACTICE
Sound is the language of the soul. It makes it audible and perceptible, simply by its sound. Sound does not work on the level of the mind. Rather, it tunes in – in the true meaning of this word – into the aspects of the living existence, the total presence in the now. When it is guided into the body by means of the Monochord table or the body Monochord, it awakens an integral experience of being in the now.
The pure harmony of sound vibrations brings us into balance. Sound can thus be an incredibly powerful support in finding the inner self, the inner essence, to encounter oneself in the innermost truth. Things that prevent us from realizing that, on the other hand, become tangible and clearly visible, so that we’re free to decide consciously on their further function.
The Monochord table – an evolution of the body Monochord - brings euphony in the form of intense, harmonic vibrations directly into the body.
A wide range of playing techniques allows for a differentiated approach to individual conditions. The body Monochord practitioner needs to use all of his resonance ability in order to tune into the particular needs of the person lying on the Monochord table. The more one develops the skill and the ability to offer oneself as an extended “sounding body”, the more the sound and the Monochord table can unfold their supportive potential.
In this training course, we devote particular attention to the exploration of our own resonance spaces. Its core element is deep self-experience. When we desire to work and to create with sound, we do well to adequately explore its effect on ourselves. Each participant receives the necessary to find and to develop her or his very own way in the sound.
The Monochord table as a tool is the heart of this training. Other so-called monochrome, archaic sounds, the voice and joint drumming are employed to illuminate the different angles of the active space on the plane of self-awareness. Inner processes are supported by competent guidance and verbalisation. Procedural and theoretical aspects are conveyed and illustrated in a concrete, hands on manner. Practice and supervision days support the participants in creating their own practice.
The training course is designed primarily for participants with professional backgrounds in therapy, psychotherapy, education and music that want to integrate the Monochord table or the body Monochord as an instrument into their work. In individual cases, this training course cycle can also be used to support a personal transformation phase. The precondition is that the participant can formulate a realistic and attainable goal.

Using the Monochord table in the treatment of mental and psychosomatic disorders (in children, adults, seniors), to support extraordinary life circumstances (e.g. pregnancy), life crises, stress and chronic diseases
Specific indications, contraindications
Application in spa and wellness contexts and in personal development
Several prolonged weekend seminars and individual practice and supervision days whithin one year. You can find upcoming seminar dates on my web page under “Termine”.
DEEP SELF-EXPERIENCE AS WELL AS THEORY AND PRACTICE
are taught in a process-oriented approach. In this way, each participant can build on his or her own resources.
The connection with inner processes and conveyed content opens the application spaces of these instruments for individual exploration.
Various ways are applied to learn and expolore how to practice with the instruments.
The experience of further archetypal sound spaces helps to find orientation in the realm of sounds.
Focused awareness training techniques help to sharpen and differentaite the perception of inner sensations.
On the morning of each seminar day there will be a guided Yoga and Meditation session for inner recollection.
